11/27 Earth Science Class and homework due 12/4

Hi folks,

Today we took our newfound knowledge of atoms and molecules and took it to a new level as we discussed solids, liquids and gasses, the properties of matter.  This will take us into our next few classes where we will be learning about minerals and rocks.

For homework this week,

Read pages 46 - 54

On page 56 and 57 do questions #11 - 24….do them carefully….you may see them on a quiz soon.  

Also answer the following questions:

1.  What are the 4 states of matter we discussed in class?

2.  What is the major difference between each state of matter.

3.  Rank the states of matter from low energy to high energy.

4.  What does heat have to do with thermal energy?

11/13 Earth Science update and homework due 11/27

Hi folks,

This week, we took the time to review all the stuff we've been working on this trimester.  We did that by doing a game show where the students wrote questions from their notes and then teams had to answer the questions.  It was a really fun competition and made for a great way to review the year so far.

Homework for next class…..NONE!  Have a wonderful holiday and a great break everyone!

Earth Science Homework

Hi folks,

Something very odd happened with the homework email and for some reason both versions of the worksheet have answers.  On my screen, one has blanks and the other has answers but somehow by the time it gets to you all, both are full of answers.  

Anyway, I believe this version will have blanks.
